 Slice of Life Side Challenge - #3

Snapped while walking on the beach this afternoon. I had my 50mm lens on the camera, and couldn't get quite close enough for a good wildlife shot. As I took one step too close, they flew around me. It's what they do when they are tired of moving away from you -- they fly around to a spot behind you.

Waaaah. I love gulls. They don't hang around too many places in Colorado. You can tell I'm a tourist when I am near the ocean, because I find them enchanting. Thank you for sharing.

oooh! the simplicity of this image is so effective. I love the shore-you are so lucky to live so close!

beautiful capture of some very delicate appearing birds, their shadows..and the water around them. It is a peaceful image yet one can feel the movement of the waves and the birds. I like your composition too
if I may offer a small pic..the upper left corner distracts a bit from the overall presentation

What a great seascape here, and I love how you captured the three birds in low flight over the water wash break.

The water is crystal clear and so refreshing and i like the vastness of the space as well.....

Excellent all round image, and so natural looking and so pleasing to the eye. It really makes me wish I were there.....

What perfect timing to get the three completely different poses in flight. I miss seeing that clear water and wading along the shoreline.
