 Whilst out on a walk last week this little guy was a right little poser. He waited for me to get the zoom lens out of the bag and fit it and then kept coming towards me closer than the minimal focus distance of the lens :)

totally excellent bird shot .. mad that he actually waited for you to get the lens out, fit it on your camera and THEN come towards you .. the birds around here arent that friendly .. :)

Right up my alley!! Terrific shot. have to see where u are located as our robins are different. Just spotted a flock and figure they are heading South..
Nice catch of the eye and beautiful plumage on the robin in addition to the perfect pose..
