One of my first attempts at photographing smoke. Would be interested to know how the DPC "experts" get the more interesting textures. I used two opposing flashes with colored tissue paper, flashing high and low to get the color. I need to get some gels!

Obvious US political reference, Red changing to Blue. I suspect some might argue that it should be blue on top and red on the bottom, but technically the source (newer smoke) is at the bottom.

A part of me hopes this fails miserably. I'm an unapologetic Republican. Not looking forward to a Democratic Presidency. History has shown that any society that murders its children for the sake of convenience or prosperity is doomed. If you were to treat dogs or cats in the same manner that we treat unwanted (pre-born) children (burned alive, dismembered alive, brains literally scrambled and vacuumed out while alive...), you'd be hauled off to jail (after throngs of people beat you to a pulp). Don't pretend they're just tissue. They feel pain and will move away from objects poking at them in the womb.

Oh well, my hope is not in McCan't or O-Mama, but in KING JESUS! One day EVERY knee shall bow and EVERY tongue shall confess the name of Jesus.

PP: Converted from raw (wb?), Levels, Curves, Invert (to get white background), Hue (to recover red & blue), Crop, Curves again, Noise Ninja, Resize, USM (slight), Add border

Shouldn't the blue be ascendant? ;-)

Not sure how you get those colours within basic editing rules. I like everything in this shot. Indeed I made a similar approach but get bashed, hope yours doing better!

Wow! That is really neat. I do wish the crop was a little looser on the top.

The title really puzzles me. Nice smoke trail. Too much white background for me.
