Definitely a slice of life & a slice of history. Today's paper will be going into storage somewhere, just have to find a spot for it.
I didn't vote for Obama or McCain, I wrote in Ron Paul knowing full well he didn't have a chance, but I didn't want either of these guys in office.

I like the sepia tone, it really gives it an old timer look.
P.S. I also wrote in Ron Paul!!!! ;)

I find it interesting that you didn't vote for him and yet you realize how this is indeed history. It certainly doesn't matter who voted for him now, because if he does well it benefits us all. Even my 89 year old "not likin' the black guy because of color but won't admit the real reason" wants him to succeed. Your processing gives this the feel of a paperboy selling papers on the street corner a long time ago. Very good photojournalism, Brandi.

Nicely taken, you should print it and put it away with the paper!

A real slice of life. I didn't vote for him either (California), but I certainly wish him well. I wonder how long the euphoria will last. He's a good man, but he's not Superman.

Oh, by the way, good processing and choice of subject. 8)

a perfect slice of life in the US and the world today!
I didn't vote for him, but still believe this is definitely a day to savor in our nation's history..I have saved the headlines of a few major events, I wrap them in plastic bags and put them in the linen drawer in my dining room breakfront. they seem to have held up prety well so far

Yes. An amazing day (even though I voted the other way). 88% voter turnout in my county in Ohio. A new record. I think he will do a good job.

Perfect for this time, right now, and for the rest of the days, as this has made history, and hopefully a better worlf to come for all of us to live in peace.....

It was a historic event for for us here in the US. Lets just hope he can do what he says. Its been a tough past 8 years.
