I put alot of hours into this challenge(not to mention 300+ photos). This was pumkin number 3. It took a better picture than the other 2 because the opening is smaller in front, helping the burn out troubles the others had.

Wow, this seems like a lot of work to set up. The pumpkin is wonderfully cut! The cuts in the back making the words....very creative!!! Extremely slight nit: you need to practice your pumpkin carving, so the light shines through evenly. (kidding!)
Score upgrade, from 8 to 9. Swash

Don't know what you did but it is unique. Like the dpchallenge at top and beautiful "reaper" Is all that light actually coming from inside the pumpkin? Will havae to grade higher than actual appeal to me because of your accomplishment

Awesome pumpkin carving! Very creative idea. To be a perfect image...imo...the black would have to be blacker. I don't think that could be accomplished without some spot-editing though. Great job! Lisa

TOTALLY COOL! I love how you can see where the scraping on the inside of the pumpkin is thin. I bought some of those types of carvings for my pumpkins this year and I can't WAIT to use them!

This is pretty darn cool I must say. I get stuck carving these silly pumpkins every year. This one is really well done and the light inside is like the sun. Great job. Too bad you couldn't get just a little more focus on the dpchallenge sign. - Inspzil

REALLY cool jack-o-lantern. Wanna come do mine for me? Did u try a different f# to get the words in sharper focus? Maybe it isn't possible - did u use a candle or light? A flickering candle would have made that really hard I guess. I like the color of the pumpkin. Tryin to think of suggestions...maybe you could have somehow made the bg darker. Used a black fabric or something? I dunno, but it's darn good as is. 7 ~indigo997

Nice image, though the text in the background seems blurred, it would be better more crisp.

Ooo DP Challenge carved into the back of the pumpkin? I think I might do that for my pumpkin this year! Cept well probably not DP Challenge as the text. Nice effect.
