 This is actually water. I got behind a display waterfall at the museum where I work and clicked away as I changed settings, trying to see what I could get. When I was reviewing the images, I noted how this one had a face in it. It reminded me of some sort of sci-fi/fantasy water-elemental type creature. The only post processing was adjusting levels, color balance, a touch of dodge & burn (as per the new rules) and overall color modification to make it just a touch bluer. It will most likely not do well here but what the heck…

I must admit I wouldn't see the so called "hidden" face if you didn't mention it in your info. The photo is has a lot of blur all over it and I can not see what is the main subject here. I also think the blue and white duotone colours you have selected don't blend well with the image.

Yes I agree with your title. There is something very basic here. Not recognisable, of course, but here all the same.

I know this is abstract, but it's just not my cup of tea. Too blurry to even be able to make out lines, colors, or shapes.
