greetings from the critique club!!
Well, I guess by reading your comments that DPC'ers want you to post your work larger, jajaja. Take their advice, or they will hammer you every time. You are allowed 640 pixels for your longest dimension, and a file size of 150k. There is also a tutorial you can read that can help you through the process.

I think that your subject is interesting enough, although the chains don't seem to be in focus. I would try to get myself positioned for this shot against a more solid background. There are some interesting shadows happening with the chains against the blue, but that benefit is lost on the distraction of the red cushions. That sliver of far background running down the left hand side, off the end of the blue box is really pulling my eye to the left. The left side definately needs to be cropped slightly. saludos, russ

Too small and cropping could be tighter...

It's too bad that this image isn't larger. I like the colors in the background. The shadows are a bit distracting. I can see that the chains are rusty, but I can't really see them well. From the rules, it says "Dimension: No dimension may be shorter than 160 pixels or longer than 640 pixels." So you could enter a photo that was 640x640 if you wanted to. You should use the size to your advantage. (sorry if you've heard this 10 times already) ~Heather~

The colors and composition are very pleasing. I regret this is such a small image.

A 7.

Too small to appreciate.

seems blurry, hard to tell with small size. (see forum thread - Q & A size doesn't matter-myth) also, background seems kind of distracting.

Almost, but it's blurry. Also, the flash attached to the camera spoiled your natural lighting.

pic it s bit on the small side - should try for about 600 or 640 pixels on the long side.

sorry, I think I'm just getting bored with rusty chaines... focus could also be better and I prefer bigger "prints" :o)

looks like it would be a good pic, but by being so small, don't see as much detail as I would want to see to make a good judgement, when you resize a pic, make it 640 on one side.

so small, might have done much better if larger. I like the colors and the comp

I would like to see this picture bigger and sharper, would mabey have been good to crop out the top of the background above the red stuff as it seems a little distracting, but the blue and red in the background looks cool, Good luck
