Yeah! I'm so excited that I got 14th place in such a large field.
The only alteration to this photo is cropping and a touch higher saturation. Other than that it's exactly as it came out of the camera. |

| Well, it's rust. A little more interesting that just plain rust due to the leaf that is stuck in it. The color is well...rusty, and I think that the lighting brings that out nicely. Placement of the subject is dead center. I'm wondering if there may be some more interesting place to put it. To the side of the photo, or maybe a dramatic angle, to make this really punch. Focus and clarity are alright. ~Heather~ |

| great contrasting colors and perfectly matched to show the combining of organic and inorganic. My only thought on composition is that it may have looked better with asymetrical balance (leaf more in a corner or slightly crop the leaf in a corner to allow more magnification) |
