What an interesting find. I would have liked less background and more of the miner/

Very interesting image! I woudl have liked to see more of the sculpture's profile, but that may not have worked with the background as well. I think a tighter aperture to blur the background more would also help, as the details there are a little distracting.

I would have liked your prospective to be much closer to the miner and place him in the lower left corner. Then great.

This is so great. But it needs cropping and a closer focus. Too much background.

Very compelling subject matter. Would have scored it much higher if your composition had been different. Maybe from a lower angle with a tighter crop.

I would like a closer crop on this.

To be more artful, I believe greater selection of what to include and what to exclude must be taken into consideration. The lighting on the face of the miner also unhighlights the key element here. I like the buildings and mountains in the background. All I can really suggest is to take this from a lower point of view and frame out the left, bottom, and right edges.

A fabulous shot. Well-placed.

that's a neat sculpture, definitely fits the challenge, but the shot is pretty plain and straight on, rule of thirds or maybe a lower to the ground point of view would have made it more interesting

Tighter composition would have made this a stronger image. There is too much background distracting from the miner.
