I love the depth of field in this, and its softness. This image captures a kind of a peaceful mood - I can almost feel a breeze coming out of it. The lack of color in this shot is perfect for the mood as well. Great picture! |

Wow. Very nice. I was hoping to see a sepia or black and white in the challenge. And you have mastered it. Beautiful. I hope to see this in the top when voting is over. Lovely composition. I love how you have placed your subjects within the photo. The sheep is just out of the way of the rusty thing, but still in the photo, which makes your rusty thing look really cool. Focus and clarity are amazing, and lighting appears to have been on your side this day. I love the crop. This would make a beautiful pring. Excellent job. 10 ~Heather~ |

Interesting idea and nice framing. I'm not sure I like the sepia tone. |

Very nice. I really like the panoramic feel of this photo. I really like this with the white border you have used. It works well here. I like the hairline black line you used in the border prior to the white. Good luck with the challenge!!! |

Great shot, but making it sepia hides the rust color in contrast to the surrounding background. |

Sheep and rusty contraption are splendid. Unfortunately even with panoramic clipping the background bothers. I suffered the illusion, perhaps because of lack of color, that I was looking downhill toward the edge of a pond or the sea. It took some time to convince myself that sheep and contraption were on the level and what I took to be water was the rise of a hill behind.
So an 8, not a 10. |

I am torn between two subjects, the rusty one not being the strongest. |

Nice tones. I like your inclusion of the sheep to add to the interest of the shot, rather than just showing us the rusted farm implement. |

Nice juxtaposition of man and nature - photo makes a statement. Is that a hawk sitting in front of the machine? |

Very nice composition and technically well done. Love the sheeps casual attitude and its textural contrast with the machinery. I suppose the sepia ties the whole thing together, but I'll admit it's not my favorite color "enhancement". Overall compelling to look at. |
