 Just a seagull, but I'm a fan of stop-motion flying shots when I can get them. Like the detail and wing position here and think it might not embarass me too much, score-wise. Still expect to compete for the brown just 'cuz there will be so many amazing images in here. Can't wait to vote!

Just a seagull but what a fantastic image it is though. Wow. That Sigma lens is impressive. I don't see why this didn't finish near the top seeing another bird finished third and that bird was sitting on a bird post in a zoo, most likely. Actually capturing this crispness and focus on a moving subject is astonishing and spectacular. Congrats on a great image.

Absolutely incredible detail! I gave this a 9 because I feel it reflects the level of grace, talent, and beauty that we all too often miss being able to capture, and I have to say how amazed I am. Just gorgeous!

Brilliant - this is much more difficult than it looks! At least seagulls are fairly compliant subjects.
