 Shot of an antique farm combine located in Stouffville Ontario Canada. I drive by this unit everyday on my way to work. Felt it was perfect for a challenge. I drove by this farm last year(without my camera) There was a great shot of a duck napping on a shed roof. I missed the shot...I am hoping this submission is a vindication of the missed oppourtunity.

It's an OK image, but just rather bland - I would like to have seen some of the rusty detail close up - it looks like there were some good opportuities for abstracts.

There is an interesting combination of back lighting and fore lighting in this picture. I would have been tempted to go all the way to the ground with the camera to see how much I could get into silhouette.

Sweet machine and subject for this topic! I like that the white sky keeps my focus on the rust. I just wish that car was not in the background. Very nice.

Since the sky whited out on you, you might as well crop the top down a bit and get the machine out of the center of the picture. Filling the frame with more darks adds mass.

I think this picture would reallly have come to life if it had been taken on a sunny day with a blue sky background. The composition and the object are great, but the lighting is too flat.
