like the detail. May have been a stronger image with just the buckle.

great composition and lighting, but to me the two big locks seem a little dull, I wish they were more colorful like the buckle

This makes for a fine composition and it's well photographed. That belt buckle intrigues me. Wonder what it would look like to feature just the buckle and maybe a "new" belt. That's just my curiosity at work. You have a fine image here.

You didn't follow the 2nd part of the challenge - "and then look for ways to compose an interesting picture around it".

the composition is a bit stiff -- fairly linear. You got the dof and lighting just right.

The two locks would be good for opposites: open and closed. I just wonder why the buckle is in this photo, A light focused on the back drop might have helped eliminate shadows.

Nice stuff here, Good picture too, I think the cropping is mabey a little bit too tight, good luck

Nice rustyness, and a technically good photo, but it's just not very interesting. It seems to sit somewhere between zen-like simplicity, and interesting complexity without being either.

Good quality shot and interesting subjects, a different angle or background would make it even better imho.

Cool, but the shadows in the background are kinda distracting, some background fill flash is called for here.
