 This picture was taken at Gasworks Park in Seattle. This park is a decomissioned gas refinery that used to be in full operation many years ago.

The shot is pretty much straight from the camera. The only modification was resizing for chellenge constraints and saving as a jpg to fit the size requirements.

What this picture lacks for me is composition. It is a little blocky and square, and with such strong verticle lines, I think that you could benefit from a tighter crop. I am in agreement with the comment that the sky trailing all the way down the right side is a distraction, and I think the small patch of sky to the lower left could be cropped out as well.

Good detail and color. You certainly selected a great subject. If this were mine I would play with a bunch of different crops. I think I see several nice images in the photograph.

Great exposure! The color of the sky works well with the rust color. The already strong composition could be made stronger still by cropping the right side just a little, to prevent the sky from going to the bottom edge. Try cropping it just to the left of where the right side of the pipe begins to curve. It helps the balance and keeps the curve of the pipe from overcoming the strong linear composition.
