Looks like a meal for a King. A little dark would have liked to have seen the whites pop a tab bit. I adore your title though, very apt

What a bird! I love the candle as the primary light source and it being slightly right of center...nice shot

I like the candle lit food, but I would have added a couple of more candles and placed the outside of the shot. I think that it pulls my eye away from the food. Also the other lighting that is being reflected in your glasses and salt and pepper shaker are distracting. I would also remove the reflections in the cabinet window panes in the right background.
