"Down the street you can hear her scream you're a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
And so castles made of sand fall in the sea, eventually
A little Indian brave who before he was ten,
Played war games in the woods with his Indian friends
And he built up a dream that when he grew up
He would be a fearless warrior Indian chief
Many moons passed and more the dream grew strong until
Tomorrow he would sing his first war song and fight his first battle
But something went wrong, surprise attack killed him in his sleep that night
And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually
There was a young girl, whose heart was a frown
'Cause she was crippled for life,
And she couldn't speak a sound
And she wished and prayed she could stop living,
So she decided to die
She drew her wheelchair to the edge of the shore
And to her legs she smiled you won't hurt me no more
But then a sight she'd never seen made her jump and say
Look a golden winged ship is passing my way
And it really didn't have to stop, it just kept on going...
And so castles made of sand slips into the sea, eventually."

Cute photo, but the haze is a bit much for me. |

With the incoming tide it looks like they'll "fall to the sea eventu'ly". Nice family scene but I think the overall haze on this really hurts the picture. |

A bit too heavy on the glare. I like the idea, it's just too heavy. |

A bit overboard on the ethereal, but nice story. |

Where are my sun glasses? I'm sorry, but the post processing is too extreem for me. Maybe you're getting that a lot. |

I don't care for the post-processing on this. I like the composition and think it has a lot of potential. |

Whoa .... that's a lot of sandcastles!! I like the colours and the interaction between the mum and the kid ... not so sure about the filter effect thingy |

Sorry but the softfocus treatment or whatever you did in PP really is not to my taste, in my eyes it just makes it flat and contrastless, hence the 3 vote, at least you know why I voted so low. |

I like the concept, but don' think it's quite worked in this shot. |

A lovely scene, but I really dislike the processing - I guess I am pretty conservative in my tastes! |

Not sure about the washed-out processing... but the image tells a good story. (not voting yet) |

I can't see the point of a fog filter for such an image...A pity, the foreground had some originality |

Neat processing. I like the blown out look. |
