I enjoy this a lot, I'm a sucker for silhouettes, especially trees.

I like how the contrasty foreground is laid on top of the soft background. The foreground tree, although a silhouette (usually a static object), delivers energy and dynamic to the composition. There is a lot to look at in this image. I even like the border.

I've looked at this several times and still am not sure about it. The shadows are just a bit too dark for my liking.

Everything about this photo looks beautiful except for the foliage in the lower right hand corner. It is too bright. It looks out of place. 6
