This is beautiful, Skip. I had you at 8, myself. Don't be such a stranger, OK?

I know I commented already, but hadn't noticed you got the PH red! Well done, very well deserved.

Heck's bells, Skip, I had to plow through a lot of work to get to you!

I can't tell you how glad I am that you still come by the site once in a while.

:-))

by the way, forgot to add during the challenge, for a more fitting tribute you should have done it in BW. Actually, i think it would make the shot better regardless of the tribute. Still, nice work, Skip!

Not a huge fan of the photo Skip, but your point is very well made.

Hope all is well!

This works for me - theblur, grain, and muted colour palette.

good motion blur, not your typical DPC entry

I find the title to be extremely confusing, but hey - what's in a name? :) I like the image though and the effect you created with motion blur and editing. 8

Blue gives the feeling of motion, but I feel that there is too much blur.

I get where you are trying to go with this. Not sure it really gets there for me. I feel I should like it, but I don't.

I can't make up my mind. I get your point with the title, but OTOH it's a shot of shuffleboard. Why am I looking at it? What's the point behind it? I do like it as a captured action shot. The blur is just the right amount to give the sense of motion but still allow us to clearly know what is happening. 6

'this is not our requiem, we̢۪re wasting time as victims
why spend our lives on bended knee, choosing not to be free?'

Cool shot.

very appropriate. too much noise, white balance is off. b/w might have worked better. overall just interesting enough to write a comment, but that's mostly due to the title. 3
