 Went out to shoot something for the sunset challenge but it was too cloudy. So I ended up with this instead.

Thanks for all the great comments and votes! This one definitely exceeded my expectations.


Post processing didn't involve too much. Convert to B&W, curves, rotate and crop.

Congrats on the ribbon! I thought this might be Scripps Pier. I took some pictures under it a couple weeks ago also, but was also looking for sunset and there wasn't any, so I abandoned them. Yours beat mine anyway. I like the time exposure. It looks like you had to set your tripod up in the water.

I love the way the long time exposure, I'm assuming, has made the water appear to be flat, almost looks like ice?

I guess some people might say this picture is slightly crooked, but I think it's fine. Very nice image all round, love the B&W. This is the only 10 I gave in this challenge. Good Job.
