I have no idea what this is. Perhaps that's the point? I have to assume that's rust. I"m sorry, but this image doesn't grab me in any way. I'm willing to admit that it may be just me.

Interesting idea, but too abstract for me. The rust is barely visible and the indent is distracting. I also think there is too much light reflecting along the edge, which makes for too little contract between subject and background.

I'm not sure what this is, but the curve is nice. I think it would be more successful if it was brighter with a white background.

This didn't strike me as a real attempt. No focus, severely cropped form something, rust for the sake of rust.

Nice idea, but somehow doesn't work. There's no real center of interest. More dramatic lighting on that dimple or groove may have helped.
