Basic concept of a carrot before and after.

I had a twisted coathanger clamped to a piece of timber to support the grater.
I then used a curved piece of A1 white card.

Simply grated the carrot to the point where it was light enought to grip to the grater without being held.

Bounced one flash off the ceiling and one direct to the subject.

Shot in raw, a basic bit of contrast adjustment and sharpening and that was it.

A very nice photo that I may have given a ten to except for the sensor dust or whatever the spot is near top center. As is: 8

Very simple and clean. Looks a little bright on my screen though. I still like it. 7

Really interesting idea! I'd probably suggest some better lighting, though, and maybe bring the grater down closer to the carrot shreddings.

Nicely composed. Focus is good, as is the lighting

great shot, but i think you need to eat some more carots to make your eyesight better lol

This is quite a nice concept for the theme, but the angles and positioning are a little off for me. I think perhaps you need to tide the lower half up a bit, get rid of some of the smaller gratings, and maybe clean the grated stuff from the grater itself. The whole shot just feels a little messy at the moment.

Nice! I feel that less distance between the grater and the grated carrots, and a little less grater, might have improved this shot.
