A really dramatic image, beautifully shot and composed. I would give a higher mark but the rust is not really apparent.

Love the mood & lighting here. Title & composition are first rate.

This photograph is very busy. What are the silverish lines running down the upper left part of the image? It looks like a reflection of some sort and is very distracting. The blurry highlights on the right side of the image are also distracting. The lightest part of the image where the eye is drawn is not to the subject, but to the leaves in the background.

The rain makes a great effect in this shot. Kind of eerie overall but creative.

Well, this is definately interesting, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking at, or where the rust is. Are the things sticking out of the ball rusty? Or are the chains? What about the fence thingy behind the ball? I can see a lot of things that COULD be rusted, but not sure if I really see the actual rust or not. I like the DOF, and I think that the streaks add to the interest of the shot. Rain? The darkness is also nice. ~Heather~

This is the loveliest picture of a skewered tennis ball that I will probably ever see.

A 10.

I like the light and atmosphere. I am not sure that I see anything rusty, though with the water and the metal, there is potential for rust. It seems as though the picture attempts to say something. Whatever it is, the message eludes me.

Your use of color and the angle at which you took this shot was great.

What an exciting story you have told here. The colors work beautifully and the degree of sharp vs blur is perfect for the composition. Hope you didn't get your camera wet. You need it to take more images as good as this one! 10

i really dont see the 'rust' in this picture, however, everything else about it i absolutely love. A truly beautiful capture.

Rough game! I like the mysteriousness of the image, and the "rain" streaks.

great shot here...violent in a way, i thought it could use more light to help shed some understanding on the situation :)

This is an interesting shot. However, the chains are way too dark to show rusted detail. They just look black to me.

Too cluttered

Interesting lighting. Unfortunately the image is very busy a difficult to read.
