 Day 7 of Whatevers

Snow! OK, only about an eighth of an inch, but it stuck :-) I stole some time from my client shoot today to get this little pinecone nestled in its snowy bed. Just a hint of sparkles in the snow.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, levels, increased contrast, added border, resized, sharpened.

I MISS pinecones!! There. I said it. Where I moved from we had pinecones as big as a man's size 13 foot. They were great for decorations. Thanks for helping me scratch that pinecone itch.

Pinecone is nice and sharp, and the composition is lovely. I like the shallow DOF. This would look great on the front of a Christmas card.
