 I hit the shed with a flash from the left and immediately painted the field with a powerful flashlight to help bring out the rows in the snow.

*Yay. This was a nice way to finish off the DPCO with my teammates. As you can see from the comments below, the majority of my group preferred another shot I had done. The problem I had with it was, the color just didn't sit well with me. My gut told me this one was it and so I entered it.

I also wanted to note that we couldn't have done as well as we did over the last several weeks without Photomouse.(Dawn) She just lost her brother and wasn't able to participate in the last few challenges. We're sorry for your loss Dawn. I'm sure you'll be back with a vengance in time.

haha i am glad you listened to me... well i know you went with your gut but this was my choice! Great job - the sky in the back is my fave part. Congrats on the top 10 finish!

Very nice composition. Another light on the front side of the barn would have helped in my opinion. The thing I like most of this is the contrast between the barn and the background. Really nice work.

Great concept, though I think the composition could have been a touch better.

Perhaps if you moved backwards a bit to reduce the size of the shed and give it more of feeling of isolation in the snow, using a longer exposure and a little less fill flash, this would evoke much more feeling of cold / isolation.
