Day 9 of Whatevers
Nothing special today, but this smells REALLY good :-) I got it out today from amongst the holiday decorations to see if I could get more in the mood. Helped a bit.
Used a desk lamp and the on-board flash with a Puffer diffuser to light this.
PP - converted from RAW, flipped, cropped, white balance, levels, increased saturation, colored some yellow-brown bits browner, decreased saturation on yellows, added border, resized, sharpened. And then messed with it some more: 2nd layer, Gaussian blur, lightened, merged in multiply mode at 20% transparency, dodged foreground greenery and pinecone. |

| I really like the composition, and having the colors be deep and rich instead of bright bright bright really gives this a classic feel to me. Wish I could smell it! |

| I love the smell too. I have a funny story. One year, I decided how cool it would be to burn what was left of a few CHRISTMAS tree branches. I threw them into an already roaring fire, and my entire house proceeded to smell like marijuana. ROFLMAO |
