 Just to clear up any questions, this was not staged. Local amateur boxing match. The only processing was a bit of boost to the saturation, and burning out the distractions in the background.

I like this better than the overprocessed boxing one here. It looks like it's an action shot rather than just holding the glove against the face like we've seen here some other times. Good timing. It looks painful!

cool concept of stars shot - the intensity of the punch is outstanding and the focus is on the nose (or is that jaw?)....

A great punch and not a bad photo either! It certainly meets one interpretation of the brief - but I can't imagine it will be that well received.

Great sports capture. I think this meets the challenge well, without showing any literal stars. I didn't even need to read the title to understand. My favorite in this challenge. (10)
