This is me at my brothers house. As usual I get caught up in the idea of the shot and forget about the technical details. My focus ended up being on the balls in the middle of the bunch and the numbers on the balls closest to the viewer ended up being a little blurry.I selected those balls and sharpened best I could, I would go back and shoot again but my brother lives an hour and a half away so, meh. Using my amazing powers I will predict a 5.5 on this. My dream score would be 6.0

I've seen this before and should've commented before this. Personally this is wayyyy under rated! It's an awesome DOF and lighting ... I kinda like the focus being in the middle of the balls, it pulls my eyes straight thru the whole shot! The softer focus on the front balls, skips me to the middle and then straight down the table to you... If you hadn't posted you thought you oopsed I really would've thought you did it on purpose!

Lovely composition, DOF and lighting, though his ring would benefit from the sparkle being subdued

I like how your lighting here. The shadows on the balls make it look as if the there is an imaginary triangle there holding them in place.

Well captured and presented image of this (tiresome) subject. Nothing major to quible with except the exposure on the balls is a little hot ... I'm just burned on on the subject. No worries, I gave it a good score.

Nice composition and I like how the light falls off just past the shooter's face.

A(nother) shot in the dark? This angle looks more intimidating. Well done, though I wish the balls weren't half shadowed.
