Baaahhh!! Scary!! I like this.. At first look, I found the color temperature too cold, but it adds to the effect.. Well done!

I see reflection, not transparency. Am I being too anal about this? On the other hand, the gator's eyelids are transparent. Not sure everyone will get that. It took me a bit to realize what the transparent part was. Good luck with this, though I expect you to get killed with DNMC votes.

As far as the image itself, I think it really has a lot of wonderful potential that can be brought out with some common adjustments. Out of curiosity, I copied this into PaintShop Pro and did some levels, curves, saturation, clarify, contrast and sharpening to it. It really brought out some wonderful detail in this gator. I saved my result in case you are interested, if not, I will delete it shortly after the challenge.

Cool picture, but I see a lot of reflection but not a lot of transparency.

I think that's pushing the subject of transparency a little far, otherwise an excellent photo of the subject

Really nice but scary perspective. I hope the transparency is the glass between you and the alligator/crocodile for you safety, and because the water isn't at all transparent, so I'll vote with that assumption. If you used a CPF it would have helped make the water transparent. Overall I think it's got too much of a green tint to it.

Reflection here, not transparency.

Nice shot but I can only see reflections so I'm struggling to see how it meets the challenge

I really quite like this picture however there is no transparency in it, only reflection.
