Congrats on the Brown Peter! I speaks to me as post New Years Eve party, after the fireworks are gone. It was probably too ambiguous for the general DPC crowd, well done! |

Well, you clearly should have arranged the trash first and thus transformed this ugly duckling into a swan. ;) Sigh.
I like your juxtaposition of different types of bang, champagne corks and fireworks - and that you represented the aftermath of such festivities. |

Nothing wrong with this beautiful image!! Too bad people vote where to low 1 to 5 is a failure score 6 is a below average, 7 is a average score, 8 is a good score, 9 is a execellent score and 10 is a wow score! |

My kind of shot. Pretty much what most of Europe looks like (as far as I can tell) the next morning. Amazing how many fireworks get shot off by just average everyday people as opposed to organized displays. The fuzziness of it lends to that "morning after" part, too. |

I like the connection with the bang of the champagne, butt it seems very pixelated and a little blurry. |

It looks like the 1/1/2009 aftermath of a New Years celebration. People really leave a big mess to start off the new year. Nice inclusion of fireworks and champagne. The bottl appears to be out of focus. It would have been better if you could rearrange the trash to be more together and crop closer and avoid the sidewalk segmet and empty space. |

it may just be the resolution of the image, but it looks like some of the objects are a little blurred, maybe some camera shake or something. |

Not sharp, and noisy. Cheap camera?
Also a bit boring to look at. Sorry. |

The whole excersize is to see who can handle the lighting, exposure and timing of the fireworks the best. The combination of the different elements make it quite a challenge. This photgraph to me seems like an opt-out of the real issues at play in this challenge. |

hmm, too bad this is a bit blurry. makes me think of those bombs you can make out of wine bottles(i forgot what they're called). this photo could show a bit more of a story if it was a tad bit sharper, and maybe a change of angle or something |
