Very mad scientist look. The smoke (or whatever it is called) is lit well and the beaker almost seems to have a slight glow to it also. Interesting shot!

Labscape? Looks like you have a little big-nosed elf sitting on the right side of the beaker blowing smoke-rings while his pet looks on! :D Very nice capture, it looks like he is having a good time.

Unfortunately, the bottom of the beaker looks blown out; not to bad, but it is a bit distracting. I think a tighter crop around the 'elf and pet' would have worked better, but I don't know how many will see what I see. Probably not very many. :D But then, I think I would have cropped it above the blown out region in any event.

Cheers, and thanks for making me laugh out loud. I do not usually tell the score I give, but you have an 8

Very cool idea. But it isn't tack-sharp, which is important for a photo where everything is based on form.

I like the choice of a longer exposure on this.

liquid nitrogen? Interesting.. seems to be some motion blur on the wisps though, which is kinda annoying, because it's a hell of a shot.

The vapor ring really helps. The lighting is very nice for illluminating the rising vapors and providing a glow to the beaker itself. The dark background is achieved well. An even faster shutter would have helped to reduce the blur on teh side of the beaker. I actually would have liked the full beaker in this picture.

Interesting concept. Might have been even better using a colored container?

Interesting concept. I think some color might have given it more pop for me.

Here's to hoping I'm the first to tell you this is really cool. Nothing distracting inthe background, focus and clarity are great, I love the smokey effect. Lighting is just perfect. subject is not dead center, I like it slightly to the side. not much more to say. Excellent shot. ~Heather~
