Its a very cute and sad image all in one. Reminds me of losing a favorite toy or something. Great image!

Now that is a strange find - I bet it's from that Seymour and Friends side challenge from waaaaaay back. I like the editing to really isolate Seymour (really a stretch but you never know!) |

Such a nice but sad looking ducky. It's almost if he's crying. The somewhat desaturated colors makes this even more looking sad. |

Oh! How sad - an abandoned ducky! And you just left him there?? Poor thing... I really do like the shot as it does indeed evoke a sadness for the poor ducky. |

AW shame... I think I would've liked a little less desat on the greens and yellows, but just my opinion. Very nice. |

PAW - Poor little cold, wet ducky maybe injured by a passing automobile. Maybe this is one of those that was in a huge container of ducky's that fell of a ship and ended up being found around the world and used by oceanographers to determine ocean currents. I like the desaturation of the grass. I think selecting and boosting the yellow saturation of the ducky would have enhanced this one.
This one is begging for a story.
Little Robbie didn't mind when mom gave him baths, since he played with Quackey while mom washed him. In fact, he liked Quackey so much he took him to bed and cuddled up to him, keeping him warm all night and sharing Robbies dreams. Robbie and Quackey were inseparable. One day when mom went in to Canton shopping Robbie brought him along to see the world. Robbie carried Quackey through Lowes, Costco and the grocery store. Robbie was proud to tell Quackey about all the interesting things they saw. When they left the last store Robbie put Quackey on the bumper and helped mom put the groceries in the trunk. Then they took off for home with Robbie eating Cheetos and talking to mom. They were almost home when Robbie noticed Quackey wasn't there. Then he remembered he had left Quackey on the bumper. Mom stopped and they looked but found Quackey was no longer there. Robbie talked mom into going back to the store and looking for Quackey, but he was nowhere to be found. Robbie was heartbroken and cried all the way home. Mom said she would get another rubber ducky, but Robbie wouldn't replace Quackey. After that Robbie never let mom go to the store without taking him, and he kept his eyes glued to the roadside all the way longing to find Quackey. |

Great find! His little ducky face seems a bit too happy for his unfortunate situation though. The processing works well for this poor, abandoned duck. |

Awww, a drive-by Rubber Duckie shooting, maybe the world's first! His upside-down position and faded colors sure sends a sad vibe :( |

Poor ducky :( If he needs a home, he can move in with the rest of the duckies here :) |

Probably a casualty from the last rubber duck challenge? Except this one would be riding high in glory because it would have won a ribbon :) Isn't it amazing how artful a vignette makes a photo. It makes the light on your duck stunning. Poor little fellow. He needs a kid to come pick him up and make him a bath toy :) |

You put this in the birds gallery???? I'll be laughing about that the rest of the day!
I like the shot. Duckie seems so....lonely. |

Very nice you are either driving very slow (and making everyone behind you very mad) or have the eyes of a hawk. I also hope you took the duck in and took care of it. |

Whoa - stop right there missy!! You cannot say through the windshield and then not shoot through it. We wanna see your grungy windshield and the distortion that comes from it. Maybe then and only then will some of my own images look as good or better. lol.
So, you were driving along a spotted a ducky in the grass? I hope you took him in and gave him something to eat. He looks a bit weak here. |

Duckie down, doh! The desat works well here, and you've used DOF effectively. |
