Knob on a rather beat up bedroom door.

Lots of fiddling with this one, and still only a so-so result. Tried some curves, some burning, highlight/shadow, and linear dodge blending, a little brightness/contrast.

Nice angle. The door know looks a little flat...maybe a levels adjustment to make it pop.

I think this turned out well, the B&W conversion is good, and I like the sidelighting. These types of shots are fascinating and I look forward to seeing more.

So nice to see a simple object in an interesting way.

Nice. Although I think the nobe is not in focus, or more lighting on nobe would have helped better.

Classic b&w - Hitchcox would have hired you in the blink of an eye.

I feel an overwhelming urge to grab it and turn. Ah but seriously, I like the difference in the appearance of the newer plated metal doorknob against the old wooden door - neat.

PAW - Interesting take on something most people would overlook as a picture subject. Nice DOF and intriguing reflection on the door. I like the angle and composition.

This is a really nice shot, love the contrast between the smooth reflective door knob and the wood texture of the door.

Fantastic focus! I love shots of ordinary things that make us look at them in a different way.

I don't think it is "so-so" at ALL! It is masterfully artistic. I am always amazed when someone can see -- and turn the ordinary into -- ART! You are amazing

Nice shot I find myself looking for you in the refection of the knob. Looks like someone in the top part of the knob smiling that is pretty cool

I think the b&w conversion is excellent. A nice range of grays, and lots of detail.
