i am not a frame's friend nevertheless i like your picture. a more unusual perspective would have been better - probably.

Nice composition and take on the challenge. The image seems a little over exposed though. I'm not sure about the necessity of the border, but I'll ignore it during voting!

the internal border detracts from the picture by leading the eye around the background tangle and away from the subject.

Really vibrant colors. Nice idea for opposties! I like that the flower falls withing the rule of thirds, not actually in the center of the picture

The border looks so similar to the stemps that it detracts from the image. I'd probably forego it altogether in this case. Creative title, and nice colors. I'd like to see some enhancement in sharpeness.

Sorry but I find the border distracting. The composition is a little "busy"

your title doesn't really meet the photo, but your cactus is nice and fits the challenge.(open/closed) p.s. loose the frame.

A little to busy for me and I think the border distracts a little bit. Nice pic though...

The border is distracting with all the thorns of about the same color running through and under it.

I'm not a fan of this border, but the picture is good.

Interesting idea. There is so much going on in the image that the border really adds to the confusion. 5

Like this one a lot. Don't care for the border; it conflicts with the natural lines in the cactus.

Nice shot. I often like borders on pictures, but not this one.

You would have done a lot better without the frame on this one I think. It takes away from the pleasing bent chaos of the thorns (adding dissorder and confusion instead) Being that thick and dominant it also takes the eye off the image and all you see is the frame. Frame gone, it's a nice shot with a decent interpretation of the topic. I'll leave you a 5 clicking close to the 4.. Border gone, I'd probably clicked the 6.
