Lisa,

This is an absolutely perfect tribute to him. As you know he loved the water, piers and docks. (I find the rails on the side facing the water a bit odd, but they just don't do that here.) :)
Emotive is right. And tears are good too.

Thanks for doing this. It's beautiful.

I thought that might be the Lensbaby. Works really well in this instance.
And isn't that just awful about jonfrommk? I feel so badly about this.
Yes, Jon, rest in peace.

Good thoughts, good action.

It's all too touching to say a lot more, but you did the right thing here. Thanks.

Very touching. I can't help but notice the other image in this folder. It is like an extension of this one, a rebirth, if you will.

PAW - Excellent memorial picture of a road that comes to a visual end but then continues in the unseen light. My condolences to Jon's family and friends. Very nice videos in the comments.

Lovely composition. I particularly enjoy the movement from the bokeh, pushing me to the path that leads to the empty pier. Touching tribute. Thanks for sharing. Ben

The path is clear, the destination unknown but full of light. Very appropriate, Lisa, and so like you to post a beautiful tribute.

My condolances to you...

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
