I think you could crop out some foreground to a 3:2 aspect ratio. You could also change the mood of this considerably by darkening the background area ...

This is one landscape I think is better than my own :)
Marvelous picture 10

When I look at this scrolled down, in effect cropping out a portion of hte yellow flowers in the foreground, it becomes a much more potent shot!

My favorite of this comp.
Good luck. Deserves a ribbon
Never visited this castle. Must do soon. It looks so beautiful.
Think it might be spelt Eilean Donan though. (May be wrong...)
Still gets a ten from me though. Love it.

A little too much flowers in the foreground. Love the rest of the image.

Very nice picture, I love old castles - wish we had them in the USA. The colors are great. I think more of the yellow flowers on the bottom could have been cropped off.

Not sure where you took this....but I know Scottish Broom when I see it. OREGON is full of it and it's taking over in some areas. Pretty but kills native plants. Love your shot, very nice composition.

Great scene, good framing, decent color and lighting. Focus seems a little soft but a terrific vista.

A beautiful scene I think maybe I would just crop a bit of the foreground off if it was mine but it is like a picture postcard well done

Beautiful. A polarizer would have brought out the colours in the sky.

Beautiful shot, "Scotlands most Romantic Castle" apparently according to the blurb.

p.s I think it's Eilean Donan (with an extra "e")

I looked at this shot with the bottom part (with the real close flowers) off the bottom of my screen and it looked better. I think cropping of the real blurred part in front helps. It also puts more emphasis on the castle and sky.

There are so many good images in this Challenge. This is just lovely with the bright foreground framing the castle. Just lovely. 9

This is a beautiful photograph. A little too much yellow on the bottom, but thats just my taste. I still love the photograph.

A classic scene. Nicely framed though I woudl have preferred a conventional 35mm frame size with the lowe quarter of shot cropped out. The shot suffers though from a high sun which desaturises the colours and gives an overall washed out feel. An evening shot or more moody shot might have worked better.

This is one of the best landscape photo's I have come across recently. The composition is good. Light is good. Use of foreground excellent. I hope you do very well in this challenge. 10

This is nice postcard view but cropping the bottom 1/3 might improve - leaving just a little foreground in focus.

Lovely landscape. The Keep seems a bit flat to me; a bit more contrast (maybe sharpening) on jus the keep would have made its presence more prominent.
