 Oh Oh! I just realized the description said show "a unique and effective way to capture the art of cooking (food)" (bolding mine). I guess that means the process of coking, not the finished product. Oh well, too late now so I'll just leave it as-is. I'm sure the DNMC police will let e know about my mistake! :-D

Thanks everyone, for your comments. As someone once said "I suck at Photoshop"! I tried to correct the color issue in PS Elements but it didn't turn out as well I thought. The color of the background here at DPC made it look worse than what I saw in Elements (which is black) plus the DNMC police were vicious! Oh well, maybe I'll get better at PP and also make sure it meets the "description" as well as the challenge title. :-)

The lighting is not ideal for cuisine. The light really throws the color off and detracts from the appeal of the dish.

I'm not sure I care for how this is lit at all (bluish light from the front/right) and the crop feels very tight. I like the DOF on the salad in the back though.

nicely composed and cooked. the lighting on the right of the salmon doesnt seem to match the overhead lighting.
