| Looking through the top 25% or so of the previous Ansel Adams challenge and I must say I think this is splendid. I started at 60th place and am working backwards so it's early to tell for sure, but I know I would have given this at least a 7, probably an 8. Love the light, the lines, the tonal range. |

| The first time through I gave this a high mark. I felt it got short changed somewhat. Although not in Yosemite, I felt it conveyed all the elements of some that were. It is even better the second time around. |

I see it : )
The twists in the foreground trunks adds a ton of interest that would not otherwise be there. It somehow fits nicely to the overall effect of the gentle curves to the left from the bottom. |
