I thought the bird was a part of the weather vane. He fits in perfect, just like the horse. Very interesting.

Can I give you an extra point now? :)

Nice photo, but cropped too tight.

Great shot. Cropped a little to much on left and would have left a little more at bird tail. Would have rated this higher. 6

Great capture! IMO the cropping is a bit close on the left edge.

Great use of silhouette! I didn't realize the bird was alive until I looked twice. I've said it many times, but my favorite quality in an image is one that rewards a second glance. It looks like the crop is a bit tight on the left, but otherwise, great job!

nice one.
the West-East is an opposite on it's own too

Love the backdrop and sharpness of the vane. Good composition, with the "hidden" North.

If you were going to use N/S/E/W as your opposites you should not have cut off the end of the W or the N!

We don't see north-yes I'm sure it's there. I'm wondering why such a tight crop?

Very simple, and nice. I'd have liked it a bit more if perhaps you'd chosen N/S or E/W and made those a straight, horizontal line, but this works for me too. I gave you an 8, nice job.

Good idea but I would have included N, S, E, W more prominently in the photo.
