Horizon looks fine to me - nice undulations - and what a magnificent sky! |

Great colored sky. I would have cropped away the blue top. |

I love the intensity of the sky, it's just on fire. I didn't really notice the horizon being off and usually that stands out for me so it's not a biggie, IMO. I wonder how this would look without the bit of blue on top, if that were cropped it would keep the focus on that glorious sky. |

Thanks all. I appreciate comments, especially constructive criticism. Maybe some more playing with hues would have gotten truer colors, but I'm just comparing with Windows picture viewer, and I'm not sure which was truer. I wanted to keep some blue in it to show I didn't just skew the entire color table from white to gold. Again, I did no selective editing at all. This is one of the better sunsets we get, and unfortunately this time of year I'm still working during most of them in a cubicle with no windows on the concrete tilt-up building. :-( I'd love it if we could move to the new 11 story glass building we're building across the street, but that's mainly for the muckety mucks. |

Wow, that was worth going out for. Nice to get it in the 'home' series, too.
Selective colour/ neutrals / up the magenta can have a good effect on something like this - or just play around with the sliders. Mind you, we're always just one slip of the mouse away from making the miracle of nature into a gaudy mess :-) |

Absolutely stunning. I think I would've cropped out the blue because it's just not as significant (to me) as all the orange and red against the landscape. Still, so beautiful, and lucky you! |

How did I miss this? I can't even remember that there was a sunset last night, much less one that looked like this. I can't get HDR to work either. I've given up on that for now.
Anyway, I really like the shot. Certainly your best in the PAW challenge so far. The colors and exposure are good, I like the layered effect of land, sky, clouds, sky. Purty. |
