The lighting and focus are really crisp, i'm wondering how this would look if you'd taked it from a higher angle to reduce the detail in the background

Great subject! Maybe it would be even better if you had come in a bit closer, and focused more on some specific parts of it.

Too much going on nothing really leads your eye around the frame any line or curve you follow is interupted.

Original idea - very difficult to compose? - seems to be a void on right? good exposure and detail.

This is a nice photo... I like the twisted branches here... this is also a difficult photo to take... I wish the grass were greener for your photo to enhance the contrast and brighten up the background....

I really like the idea but I do think the angle could be a bit better.
