It's almost like the clouds were cooperating to frame the tree.
I agree that it would have probably done very well in either the Ansel or the Single Tree Challenges.

PAW - Beautiful shot. This would have been great not only in Single Tree but in the Ansel Adams challenge, well maybe in landscape mode. Did you use a CPF to get the darker sky?

Wow! I'm thinking you must have a ribbon winner in the "Single Tree" challenge. Because this one looks ribbon worthy to me -- and you are entering it here -- so you must have something even BETTER for the challenge. Can't wait to see! This is fabulous. It would also be great for the Ansel Adams challenge!
