Another view of from where I took my photograph for the Ansel Adams II challenge.
My original plan was to get down to the edge of the water but that proved to be a little too hazardous to my health. My camera certainly took more than it's fair share of knocks trying to reach that stream. The biggest problem was how dense & tall the undergrowth was. I am just under 6 feet tall & several times that grass was taller than me & i couldn't actually see where I was putting my feet. The whole area is notorious for tomos. A tomo is basically a hole in the ground that can open up at any time without warning.
