The bird is fighting the blur! I must admit, the focus achieved via the lens baby takes me straight to the bridge. |

That's some cool lensbaby action - it brings me right into the bird, and the blur throws off the centered composition just enough to make it work even better. |

a great shot! I never heard of lensbaby until the new year. It looks like it would be fun to work with. |

Another great one with LB. Just to nitpick, the bird is kid of blending in the BG. May be shallow DOF would have helped? I am not familiar with LB. I am not sure if it can create shallow DOF. |

I like all of that centered stillness right in the middle. |

Your use of the blur in these images is excellent...adds so much drama to the image. |

That bird really stands out against the background. Love the comp and how that everything works to bring right to the bird, isolated and alone! |

Nice centered comp! He really stands out, both due to the LB and his coloring and the way you put him against the background for contrast. This looks like a marvelous park, by the way. I'm enjoying seeing it with you! |

And now we all know where the phrase 'pole position' came from ;)
Another great shot from you Lisa. |

What a great find. A little bit of solitude is good for the soul sometimes. And this really has a very serene feeling. |

Another shot that the lensbaby works well on. It really brings the bird into focus. |

Cool shot. I like how contrasting the stark white seagull is with the ominous clouds. |

Excellent lensebaby shot as it really makes the subject(s) stand out with the seagull and the dock. Nice warm colors too. |

Very moody. I like the centered composition here. Solo is a very appropriate title. The LB isolates the bird from the scene so well that it seems totally alone. |

hmmm. Intersting. Clueless new kid tries to figure out what a lensbaby actually is? I know this must be a very technically good shot this, but I actually think the wierd DOF changes distracts from it, because the colouring and mood are so lovely, and the super sharp subject all by himself is great. |

Very nice! great colors. The bird is mirrored in the background by another bird on the dock post. |

PAW - This shot is very suited to a Lensbaby. It's not something to use all the time, but works well as a unique perspective. And it only works with centered composition. Nicely composed. |

Ah datsa cool shot yeah. I've never used a lensbaby... tell me, are you closer to the subject than it appears? I would imagine so. |
