Lighting on the ice is just wonderful, really sharp and gives great shape and cragginess. I like the dark ridge behind with the white "moon" peeping over, and the moody out-of-focus blue "sky". I think the composition is strong. I find my eye initially drawn to the striking "peaks" but is always then pulled gently backwards into the depths of the image. 9, Kavey |

I'm not really sure why, but I really like this picture. The blurry background makes the front part stand out and I like the colors. karmat |

I really like this, but I think it would have been better if the lighting were behind it. |

Excellent bit of macro work. There's a bit of distortion on the left hand side that could have done with being cropped-out, but it's still v.good overall. seasick - 7 |

Very good eye! This does sort of look like mountains. I esp. like the middle part. 9 Swash |

The lighting for me here just doesn't do it. Maybe I'm not seeing it right, but I'm judging the light source used to be on the camera side of these 'mountains' due to the reflections in the glass. I think it would've been more effective to mute the lights A LOT so that there weren't quite so many reflections nor any of this intensiity. Sorry! :( Good luck anyway - Inspzil |

I like this picture. Too bad it's slightly out of focus on the glass, with a nice suggestive background... |
