 These waterfowl were not actually taken on our lake, but at Newport Park in Melbourne. I do have photos of these birds on L.Wendouree, but this is a better photo, and it still illustrates what we have lost.
Uncropped, usm, brightness/contrast, border, resize, stw.

The bottom one has quite the stern expression! : ) I might have cropped a bit off the bottom, but other than that I really like this. Even though they're in the reeds, you can still see them very clearly.

It's hard to get a good shot of those guys when they hide in the reeds like that. I find it interesting that there are so many similar species in our two Lands.
