Technically, I think this is a very good photograph. The lighting is perfect to bring out all the detail in and around the eye while keeping the hair on the right side dark. Focus is excellent, all the details in and around the eye are very sharp. Composition is good, although it tends to look a bit unbalanced with the large light part on the left and the dark part on the right. Tighter cropping would have improved that.
On the emotional level, I don't find this a really very attractive photograph. The main reason for that is there's too much detail of the skin and freckles visible. Gives me a feeling of 'up real close and too personal'. I keep looking at this because it's technically good and all the details make it interesting, and I keep wanting to look away because I don't like to look at somebody else's skin from that close. Could be a personal thing, though.

| Interesting - the eye is centered, yet is looking out of the frame. It gives an interesting feel to the image, imo. I like it! |

| Beautiful eye under good lighting. Exposure is right on. Would have a bit more impact if the model were looking straight at the lens. One of the better entires for sure. |

I've never seen a speckled eye before. :)
This is a good, clear photo but there's not much to hold the interest for very long. It's met the brief but not very creatively. |
