 Thanks so much for the comments. This is the leaf I used for these shots in March 2008.

I’d kept the leaf in a drawer in the kitchen and it didn’t look that good anymore but it still had such a lovely shape so I decided to use it again. I lay the leaf on a piece of wet glass which lay on a piece of yellow board, got the ripples by dripping water onto the glass sheet.
There are so many absolutely beautiful images in this challenge, I’m honoured to have such a super score.

One of my top picks of the challenge. The colortone is perfect for October. I love the close focus and the golden water. Very beautiful!

Well... I think the tight crop kinda works here, but I'm not too sure about the leaf itself... I don't know... something about it makes me wish it were shaped differently in the frame...
