This is the original for my action entry. I assume the challenge was because of the white background--I just hung a white sheet out. The interesting thing was that the bluebirds were not afraid of the white sheet. When I hung up a black piece of fabric, it took them about 5 hours to get used to it.

Newbies beware!! Do not work from your original and do a Save As--you cannot be sure that your original is untouched! This image was dq'd because Elements modified the metadata in my original when I did a Save As. (my husband didn't believe that. He thought I had messed up and done a Save. Nope--we experimented for 3.5 hours that night trying to figure out why my original wasn't an original. My version of elements modified the metadata header of the original when I did a Save As. Learn from my mistake!
Disqualification Details
You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council along with a list of your editing steps within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals.

Best suggestion i could make is shoot everything in RAW...not only will this not happen but you have so much power to manipulate things you could have done on the camera to enhance the shot...just my 2 cents...sorry for the dq...

Lovely capture. Your processing appears a touch rushed as you have background or other remnants on the right border. Still the subject is my favorite thus far.
