 My daughter was making a strawberry smoothie and stopped to add more yogurt and strawberries. Then I annoyed her to no end by making her wait for me to take pictures of our blender. She's convinced that I'm insane, and I'm having more and more trouble arguing the point.

In post, I cropped the image, tweaked the levels and the color of the froth, and did a little burning and dodging.

Oh, and don't let this affect your voting or comments, but this is my first photo entry so please vote high and give lots of positive feedback. ;-)

Whoo hoo! My first challenge and you guys rated my picture 27th overall -- yay! I was just hoping not to land in the bottom half, so this is incredibly exciting and encouraging. Thanks to everyone for voting as you did, and especially to those of you who took the time to leave comments.

Guessing this one is on-board flashed? Think it would have been better with some other light source, this makes it look very flat. But I give you credit for dead centering and a really annoying color :-)

I really think this is a fun idea here and certainly "meets the challenge". The composition or focal interest is quite strong enough for me to really draw me in. I also think hte seeds of the berry might be a little busy with the surrounding bubbles. Very good focus. The white sections are a little distracting.
