 Sparrow (I think) sitting on one of my Giant Bird of Paradise plants this morning. The tan background is my neighbor's stucco wall.

Shot at 200mm hand held with OS pressed against my back door window
Cropped about 50%
Topaz Adjust "Spicify"
Forgot to increase sharpness in TA so did some USM

BTW this Bird of Paradise plant is over 20 feet tall, and I have 5 of them in my back yard. Once in a while I have to chop off 6 inch or so trunks that are trying to push over my fence or break my concrete. Powerful bird!

The Topaz did a nice job of making the colors jump out. It's good to see that it's not overdone like many of the Topaz/HDR shots.

What a beautiful colors of the plant and the bird. I'm not good in birdnames, so a sparrow will do for me. Nice to have such a background for this.

LOL! He seems to be wondering just exactly what kind of bird that is, doesn't he? Very cute! I like the use of TA in this one - adds a nice touch to the scene.

The processing gives this a surreal feel, for me at least. Nice and different, love the contrasting lines and colors.
